| Over 8000 (!) terracota soldiers and 500 horses (not to mention 130 chariots) were found as recently as 1974, discovered by a farmer digging a water well. Now, the farmer lives the near-bourgeois life of collecting money at the site, to take a photo with you and give you his autograph. He is a hero to most Chinese. |
